Luxury spending exposed???

A Fujian official tried to suppress a report detailing his tastes in luxury accessories: namely a $9800-watch , & a Hermes belt! This lead to an outrage erupted through the social media websites. Netizens claimed that thousands of copies of a daily newspaper that was carrying that report were destroyed.

Strange isn't it? No wonder they are coming to spore, it's safer here! We wont even blink an eye if someone from china buys the Sentosa cove. In fact we are expecting that. I was at a seafood restaurant the other day, most of the other guests were people from china, can tell from their accents. They sure are contributing to our local F&B as well as our real estate!

Online Love Scams

I bought my usual "Her World" - love the magazine & it's articles & this month I found this extremely disturbing piece of story! Go get a copy & read it for yourself! It makes my heart boils !

A young lady innocently befriended a stupid ang mo online through Facebook. He turned out to be a scam artist. He took advantage of her feelings for him & tricked her into posing nude online  (for his eyes only) while he secretly recorded it & later used it to blackmail her.

She was so traumatised & at one point considered suicide. Lucky she's smart & reported the whole incident to the police. It's still under investiagtion but the damage has been done. I cant imagine what she has gone through..... feel very sorry for her. Very brave of her to let Her World interview & print her story. Hopefully this can prevent more victims.  I wish her all the best & hope she can get over this someday.
