People who have nothing to do !!!

One of my ex-classmate is an accountant, she works in one of those BIG accountancy firms. She hopes to make partner one day. I didn't know that can be done, like what we saw on TV, but I thought that's only for lawyers. Anyway, her Boss, the "big rich accountant" (maybe Kevin Kwan of the 'crazy rich asians' fame,  can write a book on him one day !)  has promised her that. What we suspect is, he's just stringing her along to make her work her butt off for him.

She confessed she has no life outside of her office. So when I took a day off, I called to have lunch with her, near her office, naturally. Within that lunch hour, her Boss & various colleagues had called her to ask for things! She looked at me apologetically, she seemed to be embarrassed to be working so hard. She seem to think I'm the opposite! Well, she's not wrong ...lol...

She told me she needs to have more balance in her life. She's working herself to death. She told me she needs to learn a thing or two from me! Wonder what she meant by that? She said she needs to know how I organized my life. How I'm able, to fit in so much 'free time' for vacations, lunches, dates, drinks, shopping, time to blog etc... Do I even work?
Wait a minute ......WHAT ??????
Is she saying that I am .... you know .... "not being very responsible?"
She assure me she's not! I'm not so sure though, she certainly sounded as if she thinks, I am the one who needs to be more serious about my life!
Wow... I didn't expect that!
She parted with : "how I envy you ... you have nothing to do ! "
